Why the First House Matters
The first WISH House will establish a small residential assisted living home in Northwest Ohio serving approximately 10-16 residents.
It is intentionally designed to remain small, personal, and relationship centered rather than operating as a large facility.
When this home reaches capacity, we will not expand the building.
We will build another home just like it where there is a need.
This approach protects what matters most: DIGNITY, SAFETY, AND THE FEELING OF HOME.
What the First WISH House Will Include
- 10-16 resident bedrooms
- Accessible bathrooms and bathing spaces
- Shared dining room and gathering areas
- Comfortable living room for daily life
- Outdoor space for fresh air and activity
- Medication safety systems
- 24 hour staff presence with RN oversight
The home will operate as a licensed Ohio Residential Care Facility

A Note From Julie
The vision for Jack and Irene’s WISH House comes from years of caring for people who slowly begin to feel like they no longer matter simply because they need help.
My grandmother Irene believed dignity was never optional.
My son Jack believed purpose came from helping others.
The first WISH House is being build in their honor for every person who deserves to feel safe, valued, and a part of a home.
This first home is only the beginning.
